These stand assist chairs also feature the innovative Smart Tek system, which is standard on all of the power lift chairs. This self-diagnostic system alerts the user if there is any kind of malfunction with the use of an LED display. This notifies the user that there is a problem and that a qualified service technician should be contacted. The technician should be able to speak with the user and help him fix the chair by troubleshooting the problems over the phone.

Each chair has a six-month warranty on mechanical and electrical labor, and a lifetime warranty on the power lift chair frame, recline mechanism and lift frame.
